Special Issues on M.Sc. Dissertations

The Journal of Wildlife Science (JWLS) is excited to announce a call for submissions for a Special Issue dedicated to scientific papers derived from M.Sc. dissertations. This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for emerging researchers to publish studies that, while constrained by time or data limitations, contribute valuable insights within the scope of wildlife science.

JWLS invites submissions of original research articles based on M.Sc. dissertations that align with the journal’s Aim and Scope. These articles should present robust scientific findings despite the typical limitations of short-term research projects.

Key Details:

Eligibility: Submissions must originate solely from M.Sc. dissertations and not from any other short-term research work.

Submission Process: Papers should be submitted via the JWLS portal (https://www.editorialmanager.com/jwls/default.aspx), adhering to the journal’s author guidelines.

Title Page Requirement: Clearly mention at the top: “Submission for Special Issue—Master’s Dissertation”.

Deadline: We shall accept papers for Master’s Dissertation Special Issues from 1st March 2025 to 31st March 2026 on a continuous basis. You can submit your manuscripts anytime during this period.

Publication Charges: JWLS runs on Diamond Open Access- Free to Authors and Free to Readers.

Call for Guest Editors!

JWLS seeks enthusiastic and qualified individuals having completed a Master’s degree in wildlife or related fields to serve as Guest Editors for this Special Issue. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage deeply in the editorial process and contribute to advancing the scientific discourse in wildlife research.

Eligibility and Responsibilities:

Eligibility: Candidates must have published at least one scientific paper and should have completed Master’s degree.

Responsibilities:

  • Secure a minimum of three manuscript submissions from different authors.
  • Identify and liaise with reviewers for assigned papers.
  • Oversee the peer-review process and make final recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the JWLS editorial board, which will provide guidance and supervision.

  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  3. List of potential manuscript topics and their authors.
